London-based pop-rock band named Before Sunday is to release its album entitled Anticipation on 24 April, but even until then, they do not leave their fans without giving a teaser of what it’s going to be like. So here comes the so-called teaser track entitled Devil:
We spoke with the band members about what the new album is going to be like.
What can be known about your album?
Our debut album is called “Anticipation” and it will be released on 24th April 2020 worldwide by Rockshots Records. We love every bit of this album and we can’t wait to share it with the world! It was written and recorded in London and the whole process took us around 8 months. The music has a really personal touch, and it’s driven by a diverse motivation to explore many different styles and creative ideas. We have already released 3 songs of the album as singles – music videos and you can find them on all known platforms!
What was the working process like?
Recording an album on a professional level as an indie artist is not an easy task… It requires time, dedication and a certain ”financial investment”. The working process was long and sometimes challenging but in the end it was worth every second. We had the chance to work with some very talented producers and musicians and to express ourselves through our lyrics and music. We love what we do and we hope that music fans out there will ”connect” with our songs and love them like we do. It’s amazing how a simple idea on a guitar or a piano and 3 lines of words can transform into a complete polished song, with full arrangement and production. Lot of effort goes into it making a song ”ready”, but the result is usually the best feeling in the world for us!
Where did you gain inspiration from?
We gain inspiration from literally… everything. Our personal lives, our daily routine in London (we’ve written a song dedicated to that subject!), the music industry, global events and many more. Inspiration can come from the simplest or the most complicated thing, what’s important to us is to deliver it in a way that the listener can connect with the lyrics and the music and make the song and the meaning part of his own life and problems. A song can literally mean different things for every single person, and that’s the magic of music, it’s how it connects people.
