Szerda éjjel a Carnival Youth lett indie banda csapott a húrok közé Budapesten, az A38 hajón. A lett indie banda az idén április 1-jén megjelent Propeller c. lemezbemutató koncertsorozatának keretében csapott hatalmas bulit Budapest színes hazai és nemzetközi zenés programokat kínáló állóhajójának fedélzetén. A csapat a mai buliról így nyilatkozott a Divatikonnak: “Nagyon jó volt a buli. Korábban már játszottunk néhányszor Budapesten, és nagyon kedveljük ezt a várost. Az épületek, az emberek, a látnivalók, az életérzés… – otthonosan érezzük magunkat itt. Az A38 egy nagyszerű helyszín. Nem mindennapi, van stílusa, és persze megtiszteltetés a város szívében játszani, miközben az embert gyönyörű épületek veszik körül. Szuper volt az idő, tudtunk egy kicsit napozni is – remek volt. Kimentünk a Nagybani Piacra, vettünk néhány ajándékot. A koncert egyébként az új albumunk, a Propeller lemezbemutatója volt itt, Budapesten. Ahogy játszottunk, öröm volt látni az emberek reakcióját az új dalokra, amelyeket nagyon szeretünk játszani”.
Akik erről a buliról lemaradtak,azoknak sem kell elkeseredniük. A banda ugyanis a budapesti fellépése után nyugat-európai turnéra indul, íme annak állomásai:
Carnival Youth, an indie band from Latvia presented their recently released new album, Propeller(published on 1 April, 2016) on A38 in Budapest, in the framework of their concert series. They threw a huge party on the board of the standing programme ship of Budapest. Divatikon interviewed the band after the concert, and they told us the following: “The show was really good. We’ve played in Budapest a few times and we really love the city. The architecture, the people, the views, the feeling – we kinda feel like home being here. A38 is a really great venue. It’s not typical, it has got character, the crew there is nice. And of course – it’s an honor to play in the very center of the city that is surrounded by the beautiful buildings. The weather was lovely in the morning so we caught some sun – that was really sweet. We went to the main market, bought some souveniers etc. This concert is part of our tour – we’re promoting our new album “Propeller” that came out earlier this year. We enjoy playing the news songs and seeing how people react to our new material.”
